Start with the clue as you first found it
Describe what you originally saw, heard or found. Tell us which room, surface, roof space, outside edge or shared area was involved and when it happened.
You do not need to name the pest. If you already have a photo from before the area changed, send it along, but it is not needed to get started.
Tell us what has changed since then
Let us know if furniture or stored goods were moved or the area was cleaned. Also mention any repaired gap, spray or treatment. Include roughly when it happened and whether the sign appeared again afterwards.
This is not about getting the order perfect. It simply helps the technician understand which signs are current and which may have been altered before the visit.
We inspect the property as it is now
The technician begins where the original clue appeared and checks other relevant areas that can be reached. We will explain what is present at the time of the visit and recommend what should happen next.
When treatment is appropriate, we will set out the work, preparation and advice for afterwards. For a rental, managed property or workplace, name the person who can grant access. Let us know who can explain what changed around the affected area.
Leave live termites as you found them
If you find live termites or mud-like workings, leave the area undisturbed. Do not spray them or break the workings open.
A termite inspection allows the technician to check the relevant accessible areas for signs of activity. We will explain the findings and discuss the treatment or management options for the property.
